Tags
Not that I really care about getting traffic, but tags are a necessary way for people to find content on Tumblr. However, thanks to the nature of synonyms, posting something generically funny (i.e. most of what I post) requires me to use tags like “lol”, “humor”, and “funny” all at the same time because people use all three words to search for essentially the same thing. I especially hate tagging things as “lol”, since I dislike catering to retards (same reason I don’t mind tagging “humor”), but “lol” is one of the most popular tags on tumblr.
Am I the only one who feels really uncomfortable tagging posts like some kind of attention grubbing whore?
